Barry Harrison is a Detroit-based artist and designer whose work reflects a lifelong relationship with craft, utility, and material.

Raised on a farm in Berea, Kentucky, he learned to value handmade objects before moving to Detroit and working as a technical illustrator in the automotive industry.

As co-founder of Art | Harrison Interiors, he brings together his Appalachian roots and industrial design background to create abstract sculpture, paintings, and decorative works in wood, steel, vellum, and other practical materials.
